Among the main novelties of this edition are the multiple supports from leading institutions in Cantabria, such as some of the prizes awarded to artists participating in ARTESANTANDER. Among them, there is the ARTESANTANDER Exhibition Prize / Museo Nacional de Altamira which has been awarded to Lin Calle, present at the Madrid gallery Memoria. For its part, the Port Authority of Santander has awarded the Port of Santander Exhibition Prize to Usoa Fullaondo and Zuhar Iruretagoiena, from Espacio Alexandra. This prize consists of exhibiting in one of the heritage spaces of the Port of Santander recovered for citizen activity: the Palacete del Embarcadero, the Nave Sotoliva or the Cabo Mayor Art Center.
In collaboration with the Reinosa City Council and with the aim of promoting contemporary artistic creation, the ARTESANTANDER Prize for the Celestino Cuevas Artistic Residency has been awarded to Andrea Gandarillas, whose work could be seen at the stand of the Santander gallery Mecha, which was participating for the first time in the fair.
