James Scott Brooks transforma información en una obra
 de arte abstracta, creando un lenguaje alternativo. Le
 gusta investigar como la sociedad ha evolucionado a
 partir de antiguas civilizaciones, utilizando la innovación
 científica e la geometría griega y el sistema métrico árabe. Él trabaja dentro de los límites de la geometría pura,
 dejando a parte las referencias humanas. Las formas
 vienen definidas con precisión y se aplican dentro de
 una estructura geométrica; mirando su obra es posible
 ver cálculos, líneas y exploraciones geométricas; sin
 embargo, mirándola de lejos se repiten formas hechas
 en colores planos. Para Artesantander Brooks propone
 la exploracion de las conversiones matemáticas y alfanumericas para cuestionar la relación entre lenguaje
 y abstracción.

James Scott Brooks transforms the information in an
 abstract work of art, creating an alternative language.
 He likes to investigate the way in which today’s society
 has evolved from ancient civilizations, using scientific
 innovation as the Greek geometry, the Latin alphabet
 or the Arabic metric system. As a cartographer, he
 works inside the limits of pure geometry lacking every
 human reference. The forms are defined with precision
 and reapplied inside a geometric structure. Looking
 closely it is possible to see calculus, lines and geometric
 explorations; from far away: repeated forms made in
flat colour.
 For Artesantander he proposes the exploration of
 alphanumeric conversions and maths to question the
 relationship between language and abstraction.
