Miradores miraderos

Miradores / Miraderos tiene como principal objetivo invitar al espectador a reflexionar sobre las implicaciones y connotaciones que tiene el acto de mirar. La propuesta articula un conjunto de obras que han sido seleccionadas y creadas en torno a un mismo eje vertebrador: el mirar como principal herramienta para comprender y hacer propia la realidad. Este hecho, que aglutina los intereses y preocupaciones del artista en la última década, tiene además una fuerte carga simbólica que se ejemplifica a través de dos objetos cruciales para la construcción de la mirada: la ventana y el espejo.

En definitiva, la exposición celebra un hecho a la vez tan mundano y complejo como es el acto de mirar.

Miradores / Miraderos has as its main objective to invite the viewer to reflect on the implications and connotations of the act of looking. The proposal articulates a set of works that have been selected and created around the same backbone: looking as the main tool to understand and make reality one’s own. This fact, which brings together the interests and concerns of the artist in the last decade, also has a strong symbolic charge that is exemplified through two crucial objects for the construction of the gaze: the window and the mirror. In short, the exhibition celebrates a fact that is as mundane and complex as the act of looking.
