La escuela del Centro Penitenciario de Albocàsser es
 el punto de partida, el kilómetro 0, en el que la artista
 obtiene de algunos internos narraciones que describen
 un lugar recordado o el recuerdo de un lugar vinculado
a las emociones que éste despertó.
 Las imágenes fotográficas del proyecto Km. 0 de Ester
 Pegueroles surgen de la mediación entre el relato escrito
 y el recuerdo de la vivencia de otro (cuyo traslado hacia
 el lugar que la imagen muestra no es posible). Las fotografías son una experiencia nueva, el testimonio de un
 desplazamiento, tanto geográfico como de significado
e identidad, y refieren la imposibilidad del viaje más
 allá del imaginario personal.

The School of the Penitentiary Centre of Albocàsser
is the starting point where the artist collects stories
 from the interns about a memory of a place or maybe
 the memory of a place related to the feelings brought
 back to them. The images from Km 0 by artist Ester
 Pegueroles arise from the intervention between the
 written story and the memory of another experience,
 whose journey to the actual place of the image is not
 feasible. The pictures do not aim to give an image to the
 story, as they are a new experience, the testimony of a
 journey, in a geographical sense and with a meaning
 and identity too, referring to the impossibility of the
 tripbey ond the personal imaginary.

specialist in photography and art.
