Karlo Andrei Ibarra (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1982) ha
 participado en ferias, exposiciones y bienales de todo
 el mundo (Bucarest, Moscow, San Juan, Denver, etc.)
 y ha recibido galardones como el Primer Premio del
 Concurso de Arte Digital de Centro América y el Caribe
 del Museo de Arte y Diseño de Costa Rica y el People
 Choice Award en el Festival de video del Museo de
 Arte Contemporáneo de North Miami. Su obra invita a
 reflexionar acerca de las fronteras sociales, políticas,
 culturales y geográficas; de los límites entre lo público
 y lo privado en la sociedad moderna; y del choque
 entre las utopías arquitectónicas proyectadas por los
 políticos y grandes empresas, y las realidades que la
 construcción desmedida e irresponsable ha provocado
 en territorios latinoamericanos.

Karlo Andrei Ibarra (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1982) has
 taken part in art fairs, exhibitions and biennials from all
 around the globe and has been awarded the First Prize
at the Digital Art Contest of Central America and the
 Caribbean at the Museum of Art and Design of Costa Rica
 and the People Choice Award of the Video Festival at the
 North Miami Museum of Contemporary Art. His thought provoking artworks reflect on ideas and concepts such
as the nature of borders, whether they are social,
 political, cultural or geographical; the boundaries within
 the private and public spheres in modern societies; and
the clash between the architectural utopias projected by
 politicians and big companies and the realities that the
 irresponsible construction has caused in Latin–America.
