Las musas

En la mitología griega, las musas son las divinidades inspiradoras de las Artes: cada una de ellas está relacionada con ramas artísticas y del conocimiento.

Invocadas por los poetas, se presentan como pensamientos etéreos. Ninfas sin forma definida, casi inasibles, que bajan a la tierra a susurrarnos ideas.

Esculturas «hechas de nada». Prácticamente todo su volumen de malla metálica es vacío. Un ínfimo porcentaje de tinta y pintura hace que empiecen a aparecer colores, cuerpos y rostros. Surgen formas que cambian con la luz. Volúmenes abstractos según la perspectiva, como ideas difusas, difíciles de atrapar.

In Greek mythology, the Muses are the divinities who inspire the Arts: each of them is related to branches of art and knowledge.
Invoked by poets, they appear as ethereal thoughts. Nymphs without definite form, almost ungraspable, who come down to earth to whisper ideas to us.

Sculptures «made of nothing». Practically their entire volume of metal mesh is empty. A tiny percentage of ink and paint makes colours, bodies and faces begin to appear. Shapes emerge that change with the light. Abstract volumes depending on the perspective, like diffuse ideas, difficult to catch.
