Espacio Alexandra pays special attention to emerging and mid-career artists from Cantabria and Basque Country, without neglecting projects by national and international artists.
Its program reflects the variety of the current artistic community in terms of conceptual approaches, approaches to the expressive medium and aesthetic motivations. It produces approximately six exhibitions a year, and accommodates all contemporary visual languages: painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, photography, printmaking, textile, sound art or video art.
