Artesantander announces a new collaboration with the renowned Catalan institution, founded in 1990, to award the PIRAMIDÓN / ARTESANTANDER Residency Award to one of the participating artists in the fair’s upcoming edition.

Piramidón is a hybrid space between an art gallery and a creative factory that merges artistic production with its dissemination, exhibition, and marketing. Its objective is to support artists by uniting two fundamental pillars of their practice in a single location: the studio and the gallery. It has 18 studios, through which more than 170 artists of 30 different nationalities have passed, becoming a meeting point for creators, curators, collectors, and contemporary art professionals.

The award consists of a two-month stay in 2026, during which the selected artist will be able to develop their practice in a professional and creative environment, with accommodation and a work area. In addition, you will have access to the center’s resources and spaces—such as the library, meeting room, and workshop with tools and machinery—as well as the opportunity to participate in networking activities with contemporary art figures and a group exhibition.
