The Government of Cantabria and the City Council of Santander extended their commitment to the fair with the incorporation of new artworks to their collections. The regionally owned North Collection has acquired works by Jacobo Castellano (Benveniste), Mauricio Limón (Wildpalms), Zuhar Iruretagoiena (Espacio Alexandra) and Gustavo Pérez (Memoria)
The Santander City Council made new acquisitions for the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Santander (MAS). Among them are works by Ruth Morán (Galería Ángeles Baños), Santiago Talavera (Victor Lope), Aldo Iacobelli (Siboney) and Rui Soares Costa (Salgadeiras).

Highlighting the value of private collecting, ARTESANTANDER closed agreements with five prominent private collections to present Acquisition Prizes during the fair. Thus, the Rucandio Collection selected the work of Estefanía Martín Sáenz at Llamazares Gallery (Gijón); the Navacerrada Collection opted for the work of the FOD, exhibited at the Juan Silió gallery; The Mouro Producciones Collection chose a work by Rui Soares Costa from the Lisbon gallery Salgadeiras for its collection; the Kells Art Collection opted for the artistic proposal of Alejandra Glez., represented by the Aurora Vigil-Escalera gallery; and the Portuguese Rita Talhas and Gonçalo Lima Collection opted for Ana Maria Vasco Costa, from the Fonseca Macedo gallery.
